Giovanni and Giulio have been best friends for more than 40 years.
Giovanni founded one of Rome's most renowned and historic restaurants in 1946. It became a regular stop for actors, politicians, sportsmen, and businessmen worldwide for over 40 years. Just to name a few guests of the restaurant over the years: Woody Allen, Sylvester Stallone, Marylin Streep, John Kerry and many more.
A successful entrepreneur, Giulio, made the restaurant almost a second office for over 30 years by organizing business lunches and dinners with leading Italian political and industrial personalities.
The sons, who grew up together, just paying homage to this friendship, decided to start GG Kitchen in LA in 2023.
The desire is to bring the quality and simplicity of Roman cuisine to American tables. All-Italian ingredients, simple preparations without fancy elaborations, to get the True Roman Taste!
The beginning is Pizza Romana and Supplì... but much more is yet to come!
